We live on top of a hill where it is very windy at times. The last one of these with the extra air flaps lasted several years but it faded and if the wind was strong enough it lifted out of the table. This umbrella so far has worked great in the wind. We do have it closed when we are not close by. I like the tie string on the bottom flap to keep it tightly closed. We just had the strongest wind last week in the 31 years we have lived here and the umbrella stayed tightly closed and didn't lift off from the table. The red color is very attractive and it is easy to put up and down.

I searched for umbrellas to use on our beach patio that gets significant sun and wind. These looked great but after years of getting umbrellas in this price range I was still skeptical. After using these for 6 months I can tell you they are great. They totally stand up to the wind and sun.

Our last Sunbrella lasted for 20 years in a very sunny and windy location! When it was time to replace it, we made the mistake of getting an inexpensive one from the hardware store. That one lasted one year and we are back to Sunbrellas again. The triple vent is great and it is sturdy, attractive, and tilts easily.
